2010:  Katie and I took a trip to Italy for the first time in the beginning of October and had a most awesome time. With visions of Rome, Venice , Bellagio, Monterosso and more dancing in our heads still, Katie suggested I draw Santa in a gondola for this year’s card. Naturally I had to attempt to capture some of the magic that is Venice, seen here looking from the tip of the Dorsoduro toward St. Marks. I left out the statue of the naked boy holding a frog by it’s leg that was on display  when we were there because it just looked too weird.
